About me

I completed my undergraduate degree in Physics at the University of Santa Catarina State (UDESC) in Joinville in 2014. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Florianópolis, where I joined the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) for my master's degree. I received my M.Sc. in Physics in 2016, focusing on atomic physics. I continued my studies at UFSC and obtained my Ph.D. in Physics in 2021. My doctoral thesis, titled "Quantum Thermodynamics with Photonic Systems," was developed in the field of Quantum Optics and Quantum Thermodynamics. During the final part of my doctorate, I had the opportunity to be a visiting researcher at the University of Vienna, first as part of the "Split Fellowship Program" and later as a Scientific Project Collaborator, contributing to the "Photonic Quantum Computer" project (2019-2020). After completing my Ph.D., I moved to France for a postdoctoral researcher position at LKB - Laboratoire Kastler-Brossel, at Sorbonne Université (2021-2023). My research there focused on Multimode Quantum Optics, specifically on the production of frequency-squeezed states for applications in complex networks and quantum thermodynamics protocols. Since September 2023, I have held a permanent position as a Professor at the Institute of Physics at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) in Goiânia. My current research focuses on quantum information, with applications in quantum communication and quantum thermodynamics, as well as other topics involving structured light. My duties include teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and supervising master's and scientific initiation students.
